Some of my early study in this topic I have to credit to Brian Tracy who has the amazing talent of organizing and presenting thoughts in very clear and usable ways.  I also have to credit Leo Babauta for helping me rethink goal setting.  And I must recognize Chris Guillebeau from his web site and Seth Godin in his book Tribes for the inspiration and idea of a free Manifesto.  And finally, working with private financial planning clients has had a huge impact on teaching me what works and what doesn’t work when making huge life changes.

  1. Hi Chuck,
I love what you have written and found it very valuable. You present a perspective and a process that I have never considered before. Probably like everyone else, I do a lot of planning but never finish everything that I want to accomplish. I’ll try your process and see how it goes, and then I’ll let you know what happened. Happy New Year!

    P.S.
I liked it so much that I re‐posted it on my blog and mentioned it on my Twitter and Facebook pages!
