I wish you a wonderful Thanksgiving with as many friends, family, and loved ones as possible.
I hope you’ll ignore the government bullies and the media fear pimps, and enjoy the holiday with your loved ones.
It’s time we ignore the fake pandemic and reconnect with each other.
And before you send me a nasty message that the pandemic real, I already know you may have a neighbor whose grandma is in the hospital with the illness.
I realize there is a legitimate virus that is particularly nasty for older people with comorbidities. I’m also aware of the many people that die from car accidents, heart disease, cancer, and a long list of other tragedies that come with life.
It’s terrible when we lose our loved ones for any reason, but just because life comes with risk, doesn’t mean we should stop living.
It’s time we look at the real data, ignore the fear porn, and reconnect with humanity.
We are social creatures who are not made to live in isolation. Loneliness is terribly unhealthy, so I implore you to invite as many people as you can and share a wonderful meal to celebrate everything we have to be grateful for.
I guarantee anyone we’ve tragically lost this year would want you you celebrate life, because hiding alone in fear is no way to live.
P. S. When you do your last minute grocery run, take that mask off and smile at everyone that passes you. It will be a wonderful experience.
